As Business Operations Director, Karen oversees all human resources functions, FAA reporting, managing lease files and coordinating lease renewals, the day-to-day operations of the office, and serves as liaison to the SCTAC and ITIC Boards of Directors. She has more than 30 years of experience in the legal, government, HR, and non-profit fields.
Karen is a graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina with a BA in Political Studies. She also earned a post-baccalaureate paralegal certification there. In addition, she holds a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute and a SHRM-CP certification through the Society of Human Resource Management.
